By working with the local community and other local voluntary groups to support one another’s causes the Friends are looking to raise awareness of the hospital’s resources and capabilities. The Friends’ purpose is to support the wellbeing of nursing and caring staff working within the hospital and helping to make the patients’ stay in hospital more comfortable.
