Prior to the website going live, Facebook was the Friends’ only way of promoting our fundraising events, achievements, etc.. Facebook is going very well. Thank you to everyone who has Liked our Page and Followed us but, of course, not everyone is on Facebook. With the dynamic website, we will be able to reach out to a different and more varied audience within South Holland and way, way beyond.
The Friends are dedicated to supporting and enhancing the well-being of the patients and the hard working staff at Johnson Community Hospital through various fundraising and awareness activities. The Friends commitment is to work hand-in-hand with the local community and other voluntary groups to support one another’s causes, raise awareness of the hospital’s resources and capabilities and do everything we can to support our wonderful medical and ancillary staff but also to make life more pleasant for the patients. Through the Friends’ initiatives, we seek to create a nurturing environment for the welfare of everyone involved.
The Friends would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Jack at Drive By Websites Ltd for designing and creating our visually appealing and user-friendly website. One of the features of the website which will be of huge benefit is the Blog. The Friends look forward to reaching out to you with information about forthcoming fundraising events, how we are spending the money we raise, achievements etc.
