The Domestic Staff at the hospital recently reached out to the Friends with a request for two industrial-size teapots and a jug. Of course, we were only delighted to order them. We are always keen to do anything we can to support the smooth running of serving teas to the patients for which the staff were thankful.
We have mentioned before that it is often the small things that can make a huge difference to the day-to-day running of the hospital, and this is just one perfect example of that philosophy in action. In the accompanying picture, you can see the new arrivals, and it is clear that one of the teapots has already been well used and put to excellent work.
But, of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible support of you, our local community. Your generous donations to our Charity are what allow us to fulfill these requests and directly improve comfort and care at the hospital.
Looking ahead, you may have already seen that we will shortly be holding our Summer Fayre. The event is set to take place within the hospital grounds on Saturday, 4th July, from 2pm to 4pm. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Spalding Community Choir will be there to entertain visitors throughout the afternoon. We do hope you will be able to pop along, enjoy browsing the various stalls, enjoy eating the delicious cakes provided by Pinchbeck WI and spend some time with us. We look forward to welcoming you all there!
