On behalf of the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital, the Friends would like to extend our sincere thanks to Broad Street Methodist Church, Spalding for their most generous donation. Their support has played a major part in helping us fund two important items that are already making a meaningful difference within the hospital.
The first purchase was a shredder for the X-ray Department. The staff have asked me to pass on their grateful thanks. The shredder has made an immediate improvement to the secure disposal of patients’ confidential documentation — something that is essential to the smooth running of the department and to maintaining patient trust.
The second item funded was a privacy screen, now available for use across various departments in the hospital. This screen will be invaluable in situations where someone attending the hospital becomes unwell. It will allow staff to provide care with dignity and privacy, which is so important during moments of vulnerability.
Support from organisations such as the Broad Street Methodist Church, Spalding makes a tremendous difference to what we are able to achieve. Without their generosity, we simply wouldn’t be able to fund the improvements that help both patients and our hardworking nursing and auxiliary staff.
Thank Broad Street Methodist Church, Spalding once again for your kindness and support.
