100 Christmas Gifts at Christmas

Recently, the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital were delighted to welcome staff from Ark Property Centre to the hospital to receive a very kind and thoughtful donation of 100 Christmas gifts for our Trolley Shop.

Ark Property Centre held an event at the Sessions House the night before, where a raffle was drawn for various charitable donations, and we were incredibly lucky to be chosen to receive their “100 Gifts at Christmas”. These include Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings, mince pies and other festive goodies.

These goodies will be shared out over the Christmas period with nursing staff and with patients who will be spending Christmas in hospital, helping to bring a little festive cheer at what can be a difficult time of year.

Lauren from Ark Property Centre explained why the Friends’ Trolley Shop was included in the draw, saying that supporting the Trolley Shop felt like a meaningful way to help both patients and staff at Christmas.

The Friends were genuinely surprised and absolutely delighted to receive this donation. We would like to thank Ark Property Centre for thinking of our Charity and for their generosity, which will help us bring comfort, kindness and a festive smile to many people over the coming days. We are truly grateful.
