HOW DONATIONS MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE AT JOHNSON COMMUNITY HOSPITAL

Recently the Friends emailed to extend our sincere thanks to Mark Forth Independent Funeral Services for their support and assistance with the Crawford family’s recent donation to our Charity.

Charley Morgan and Lesley Crawford – the daughter and wife of the late David Crawford, affectionately known to many as “Biscuit” – kindly chose The Friends as the recipient of donations made at his funeral, raising a total of £70.63.

The Friends thought you all might like to know how this thoughtful donation has been used. The money played a major part in helping us fund the purchase of children’s toy storage and a set of table and chairs for the Urgent Treatment Centre at Johnson Community Hospital. These items will help make visits a little less daunting for young patients, while also providing some much-appreciated support to the doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff who work so hard caring for them.

We asked if Mark Forth Independent Funeral Services could please pass on our heartfelt thanks to Charley and Lesley for their generosity during such a difficult time. We expressed our appreciation them for the compassion and professionalism they showed in supporting the Crawford family.
