Supporting our Young Patients in Outpatients

The Friends of Johnson Community Hospital were delighted to donate £250 to the Outpatients Department for the purchase of new toys for the children’s play area.

Rebecca Mills, Senior Admin Assistant and Danielle Holton, Clinical Team Lead contacted us recently to say how thrilled they were with the new toys, which will help make visits to the hospital a little more enjoyable and comforting for young patients. They also sent a lovely photograph of our member Rosemary, who kindly assisted with the selection of toys. Rosemary is also a valued volunteer at the hospital.

Rebecca wrote:

“On behalf of the Outpatients Department and Johnson Community Hospital, Danielle and I would like to say a massive thank you for your generous donation of £250.00 to spend on new toys for the children’s play area in Outpatients. These toys will make a massive difference to the children that visit our department.”

The Friends are always delighted to support our hardworking hospital teams in improving the experience of patients and visitors. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising efforts — it’s through your kindness that we are able to continue providing comfort and care for patients and their families at Johnson Community Hospital.
