Heartfelt Thanks to Sheila for Her Wonderful Knitted Donations

The Friends of Johnson Community Hospital would like to extend our warmest thanks to a very kind and talented lady, Sheila Blackford, for her thoughtful donation of beautifully knitted toys, children’s hats and blankets.

Today, I visited Diane Tilley’s house to collect a huge bag of Sheila’s handmade goodies. There are far too many delightful items to capture in just one picture! Sheila’s generosity and creativity will make a real difference to our fundraising.

With our Christmas Fayre coming up on Saturday, 22nd November at Pinchbeck Village Hall, Sheila’s knitted gifts will be just perfect to help us raise funds. These funds go towards buying items to support the hardworking nurses and auxiliary staff, and for the comfort of patients staying at Johnson Community Hospital.

Alongside the Fayre, the Friends will also be holding table-top sales at the hospital itself, where we’ll be offering a variety of festive items for sale – including our ever-popular Christmas cards.

Once again, thank you so much, Sheila, for your kindness and generosity, and also to Diane for helping us receive these wonderful gifts. Your support means the world to us.
