The Little Things Make a Big Difference

Members of the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital recently visited the hospital for a photoshoot to showcase one of our latest contributions to patient wellbeing.

Thanks to the continued generosity of our supporters, the Friends’ Charity has recently purchased a lovely selection of vases for use on the Welland Ward. While small in size, these thoughtful additions will help brighten up patient rooms and create a more welcoming and homely environment for those staying in hospital.

As a Charity, we are committed to supporting the hardworking nurses and auxiliary staff, and to enhancing the comfort and wellbeing of the patients in their care. Sometimes, it’s the little things – like a fresh bunch of flowers in a vase – that can make all the difference.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Your kindness helps us keep doing what we do.

In the photo, we have Florinda Burguillo (Clinical Health Support Worker), Christine Lawton (Friends’ President), Stuart East (Friends’ Vice-Chairman), Christine Grocock (Friends’ Secretary), Onika Shasma (Registered Nurse) and Lisa Day (Clinical Health Support Worker)
