Members of the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital recently visited the Blood Clinic for a quick photoshoot to mark the arrival of a much-needed piece of equipment. With temperatures rising and the original fan having broken down, the nurses, health support workers, volunteers and patients were feeling the heat. Thanks to the swift action of the Friends, a replacement fan was purchased and is now in place, helping to keep the clinic cool and comfortable.
The hardworking team at the Blood Clinic were incredibly grateful for the support, and it’s a small but important example of how donations directly benefit both staff and patients at the hospital.
None of this would be possible without the kind and generous support of the people of South Holland and beyond. Every donation helps, and we are truly grateful.
In the photo, we have Zoe Summerfield (Clinical Health Care Support Worker), Ollie Long (Clinical Health Care Support Worker), Julie Gray (Nurse in Charge), Christine Grocock (Friends’ Secretary) and Stuart East (Friends’ Vice-Chairman)
