Yesterday, members of the Friends were honoured to meet Charley Morgan and Lesley Crawford – the daughter and wife of the late David Crawford, affectionately known to many as “Biscuit.” David, a well-known and respected retired publican, sadly passed away recently.
In his memory, the family kindly chose the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital as the recipient of donations made at his funeral, raising a total of £70.63. Charley and Lesley were joined by Mark and Sue Forth of Mark Forth Independent Funeral Services, who provided compassionate and professional support to the family during this difficult time.
We are deeply grateful to the Crawford family for choosing our charity. Their generous donation will go directly towards supporting our ongoing work providing much-needed resources and comfort to patients at the hospital.
