Friends Thank Spalding Probus Group for Their Support

On Wednesday, 11th June, members of the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital were warmly welcomed to The Woodlands Hotel in Spalding to receive a donation of £50. The Friends were absolutely delighted to be considered for this generous contribution and would like to express heartfelt thanks to the ladies from the Spalding Probus Group.

The Probus Group in Spalding is currently looking to welcome new members. Probus offers a unique opportunity for retired individuals to come together, share experiences, and enjoy the company of like-minded people. Retirement can sometimes bring feelings of isolation, but Probus provides a supportive and sociable environment where members can build friendships.

The Spalding Probus Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month for a lunch followed by a guest speaker. It’s a great chance to connect with others who understand the unique joys and challenges that come with life after a busy career.

If you or someone you know might be interested in joining the group, please contact Madeleine Grimmett on 01775 760099 or via email at madeleinegrimmett@yahoo.com.

The Friends would once again like to thank the Spalding Probus Group for their kind donation. It will go towards purchasing essential equipment for the hard-working nurses and to enhance the comfort of patients at Johnson Community Hospital.
