A Joyful Christmas Carol Service at Johnson Community Hospital

This afternoon, the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital hosted our annual Carol Service, and what a joyful occasion it was! Led by our Chaplain and Chairman, Steve Weatherly-Barton, the service brought the spirit of Christmas to the hospital, giving patients and their visitors a chance to enjoy the festive season together.

We were privileged to have Lynn Chappell volunteer her time and talent to play the piano, accompanied by the beautiful voices of singers from St Mary and St Nicolas Church, Spalding. Everyone joined in to sing the much-loved Christmas carols, making it a heartwarming and inclusive celebration.

No Carol Service would be complete without a special guest, and we were thrilled to welcome Father Christmas himself! He delivered presents, purchased by the Friends, to all the patients, spreading smiles and festive cheer throughout the hospital.

The event was a truly lovely occasion, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who was able to attend. We extend our warmest gratitude to all the volunteers, staff, and supporters who made this day so special.

As we reflect on a momentous year, the Friends look forward with excitement and hope for what 2025 will bring. Merry Christmas to all our followers and supporters! Thank you for being part of our journey. 🎄✨
