Spalding Football Club Has Chosen The Friends as Their Charity Partner

The Friends of Johnson Community Hospital are absolutely delighted to have been chosen by Spalding Football Club as their official charity to support. Recently, members of the Friends met with Gary Kent (Secretary), Vicki Barnett (General Manager), and Andy Glaves (Commercial Manager) at their first Coffee Morning of the season, and we were made to feel so welcome by everyone at the Club.
Spalding Football Club shares a similar philosophy with the Friends in that we are all volunteers, working for the common good of our local community. Their monthly coffee mornings are a wonderful initiative, inviting anyone from the community to come along and enjoy a friendly atmosphere with delicious refreshments — especially the cakes! It’s a fantastic opportunity for people to connect and engage.
The Friends are looking forward to working closely with the Club to promote both Spalding United and our charity, raising awareness of the important work we do to support the hospital. Together, we believe we can achieve great things for the people of Spalding, the hardworking nurses and auxiliary staff at Johnson Community Hospital, and of course, the patients who rely on the hospital’s services.
We cannot thank Spalding Football Club enough for choosing the Friends as their charity partner. With this collaboration, we are confident that we can make a real difference in our community!
