Friends Happy to Support St Barnabas Hospice

St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

The Friends are happy to support St Barnabas Hospice in respect of promoting their Knit and Natter group which meets at the hospital on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon. It is free to attend and all are welcome with an emphasis on support for palliative patients, their carers or anyone who has experienced a bereavement.  The sessions are dedicated to conversation and creativity. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.  There is no need to book.

St Barnabas’ Volunteer Coordinator is also working on a project to establish men’s groups across the county as they find that male patients and bereaved partners are less likely to attend our regular coffee mornings and Knit and Natter groups.
