The Friends are excited to share some wonderful news! The Friends have recently purchased four sets of patio furniture for the benefit of the hardworking nursing staff, patients and visitors to Johnson Community Hospital.
We approached Birchgrove Garden Centre in Pinchbeck, where the staff were incredibly helpful in meeting the exact requirements of the hospital’s management. Thanks to their support, the hospital now has beautiful and functional furniture that will greatly enhance the outdoor spaces at the hospital.
Gary Slator, owner of Birchgrove Garden Centre, said: “We are happy that we have been able to help the Friends of Johnson Community Hospital to source this outdoor furniture, which we hope will be used by patients and visitors for years to come. We appreciate the valuable work the Friends do to support the hospital and in turn the local community, so we are pleased to have played a small part in making the hospital environment more welcoming and relaxing.”
Cherry Immink, Support Services Team Leader said: “Absolutely amazed at all the hard work that the Friends of Johnson Hospital do for the benefit of the Patients and Colleagues that work on this site. The furniture that was supplied and received from Birchgrove Garden Centre in Pinchbeck that the Friends of Johnson Hospital kindly purchased for the Coffee Pot in the Hospital where so many patients and colleagues will get the benefit in the summer months being able to sit outside. We are very grateful that the Friends of Johnson Hospital can help and support this way”.
During the summer months, this new patio furniture will provide comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy refreshments from the Coffee Pot while sitting outside.
We are thrilled to contribute to the well-being of our nursing staff and patients and hope these additions will make their time at the hospital more pleasant.
