The Friends are immensely grateful to The Spalding Voice for their generous coverage of our recent Summer Fayre. Your support has been invaluable in helping us reach the community and share the significance of our event.
In a letter published by The Voice, our Secretary expressed heartfelt thanks to the local businesses that generously donated wonderful raffle prizes. The letter, entitled “Generous Raffle Donations,” highlighted the overwhelming support we received from our local business community, making this year’s raffle one of our most successful.
The Voice also featured an article entitled “Fayre Remembers Angela,” paying tribute to our former President, Angela Newton. This was our first Fayre in four years, a poignant event held in memory of Angela, who was a dedicated leader and a cherished member of our charity. Due to the Covid-19 lockdowns, our annual Fayre had to be put on hold, and sadly, during this time, we lost Angela. The article beautifully captured the essence of the Fayre, which not only celebrated community spirit but also honoured Angela’s legacy and her contributions to the Friends’ Charity.
The Spalding Voice has always been a strong supporter of our Charity, and this recent coverage has once again demonstrated their commitment to highlighting important community events. Their articles have helped us showcase the impact of local generosity and the efforts of the Friends to support the hospital.
We extend our deepest gratitude to The Spalding Voice for their continued support and for helping us honour Angela Newton’s memory in such a meaningful way. Your publication plays a crucial role in keeping our community informed and connected, and we appreciate your partnership in our mission to support the hospital, its staff, and its patients.
Thank you once again for your invaluable support.
